Summer Time, and the living is easy...

Well,
for some that is...
Judging from recent email inquiries, it seems LAX is on a lot of folk’s minds right now. I thought it appropriate to put some info up here for reference.
Signups for the 2010 season of Wolfpack Lacrosse will begin near the end of November, 2009. Once again we have plans to field three teams, a 3/4 grade, a 5/6 grade, and a 7/8 grade team. These divisions are based on a players academic grade level in the 2009-2010 school year.
Practices will start sometime in February. The season starts mid March and runs for about 10 weeks. There are usually two practices per week, with games held on Saturdays during the regular season.
Practices are held on Beacon HIll’s Asa Mercer MS field, near the golf links. We are pursuing other field options, but that all depends on Seattle Parks and Recreation’s decision.
Registration fees, most likely will remain where they were for the past few years ($150 per player), although that may change once the powers-that-be start their deliberations.
We here at Wolfpack Lax will NOT be offering any fall lacrosse. There are some programs out there, usually on the eastside, that are offering fall lacrosse, but those programs are generally by invitation only, targeting experienced players.
Have a great remainder of the summer, and we look forward to the start of the 2010 season...!
